March is Women's History Month and we're celebrating by highlighting unique scholarships for amazing women. Once of the best ways to honor such extraordinary women of the past is to take advantage of the opportunities awarded for your future - opportunities that, without their hard work, determination and efforts, would not be available to you today.

In just this past year, there have been many amazing firsts for women. Including, the first African American, South-Asian, Female to hold one of the most powerful political seats in the United States—Vice-President, Kamala Harris. According to Her Agenda, the 2021 Presidential Inauguration also “...marked the first swearing-in of a female Vice President by a female supreme court judge.

Women’s Public Leadership Network, highlights other remarkable accomplishments for women in 2020, reporting “Women of color now hold 48 seats in the U.S. House.”

Women's History Month is a relatively new national month-long observance. In fact, it's only about 40-years old as a nationally recognized month. According to a National Women's History Alliance article, National Women's History Month begin in 1980 with a proclamation from then president, Jimmy Carter.

Many celebrate fierce females by awarding and empowering remarkable women with college scholarships.

Let's celebrate the social achievements and educational accomplishments of the many great women who have paved the way. Here's to you females working on your college education - It’s YOUR turn to make women’s history:
