“You cannot go wrong with College Planners USA. Every child spends time with the consultant, who build a solid and trusting relationship with both the child and parents. They help find the best possible pool of schools for the student to consider and then helps them determine the best choice for the family based upon the cost, intangible factors like geography, size and culture, and all in view of the financial aid package that may or may not be available. The consultant helps the family through the process in a methodical and professional manner, helping you avoid potential pitfalls and assisting you to find scholarships and grants that you may not have considered. You are in good hands with College Planners USA. We were more than pleased with the work they did for us.”

FAQs

When is the right time to start planning for college?

It is never too late, or early, to prepare yourself for what comes next. We work with students as early as middle school to help prepare students for the smoothest transition from high school to college. If you’re a Junior or Senior, reach out to us right away so we can get you caught up!

What can I do to stand out on applications?

Explore your interests. Get involved where you can start to discover what you enjoy (or even better, what you don’t enjoy). Seek opportunities to develop intellectually and double down on what you love. Your passion and dedication can help set you apart.

Are grades and test scores important?

While grade point average (GPA) and SAT/ACT test scores aren’t the only factors that are considered in college applications, they are important to help open doors for financial assistance and application acceptance. Standardized tests can be prepared for by taking prep courses or hiring a tutor, while GPA accumulates over a student’s high school career.

When is the next standardized test date in my area?

ACT testing dates (dates are subject to change, check ACT.org for updates).
SAT testing dates (dates are subject to change, check CollegeBoard.org for updates).
